A Petty Cash Application for the Lost and Found Unit Using the Laravel Framework

PT. Gapura Angkasa is a company engaged in services and is obliged to improve the services provided to passengers. One thing that must be improved is the service at the Lost Found unit or what is often called the Baggage Service, where this is a place to report any discrepancies in passenger luggage. The airline will provide compensation to passengers for the discrepancy received and will be paid using the company's petty cash. Currently, the process of recording the use of petty cash at the Baggage Service unit is still done manually, causing various obstacles experienced when reporting. Based on these problems, the authors build a web-based accounting application that can be a solution to the problems faced. With this application it is hoped that it can help PT. Gapura Angkasa in managing the use of petty cash in the Baggage Service unit and is able to improve employee performance. This application is built with the Laravel framework. The design process for this application uses Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), conceptual databases, and table structures. To ensure that the application created can run properly according to the design, testing is carried out using the Blackbox Testing method. The results of this study are design documents for the Lost and Found unit which will help the admin and staff of Lost and Found PT. Gapura Angkasa in managing the recording of the use of petty cash.
