Abstract
Food safety is crucial in catering and hospitality because it directly affects consumer health, customer satisfaction, and operational sustainability. Although Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards are widely implemented, practice still faces difficulties caused by human error and limited employee understanding of standard procedures. Conventional training tends to be limited, insufficiently interactive, and difficult to evaluate. This research develops a web-based food safety training system using Spring Boot for the backend and Angular for the frontend. It provides learning modules, educational videos, quiz-based evaluations, achievement reports, and user management to improve employees' competence in applying HACCP. Development follows the Waterfall Model, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, and evaluation. Validation will use Black Box Testing and Likert-scale User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The anticipated outcome is a system that is easy to use, functions as intended, and improves understanding of and compliance with food safety standards. The research offers an academic contribution through a digital training model, practical benefits through measurable training quality, and social benefits through improved food safety and consumer trust.
