Abstract

Food businesses are a popular option because they can require relatively modest capital while offering promising returns. This community service activity focuses on a home-based mini terang bulan snack business. The market still offers opportunities, but creative ideas are needed to compete with other cake sellers. The partner is Rustana, who lives in Banjar Sengguan Abianbase, Mengwi, Badung. He and his wife started the business after he lost work because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Orders fluctuate around 30–50 pieces per day and can increase for weddings or religious events. Production capacity remains limited because the business has only one mold, making large orders time-consuming. It offers only the original flavor with chocolate sprinkles. Products are packaged in clear plastic containers without a logo or packaging design. The proposed solutions address these priorities by adding flavors and toppings, increasing production capacity through additional equipment, and introducing a packaging design or logo. The packaging will help customers recognize the product and provide seller information and contact details.
